St. George's centre is the happy home
of a Warner Bros Village
multiplex that shows new releases and old kids movies on weekend
mornings. the tickets cost half what you pay in the west end
for the same movies, but you always need to book in advance
for new releases.
There is a slightly less mainstream
cinema a few blocks away, which is an ideal site for a night
out. Before going to the Safari cinema, on station road,
you can have a bite of veggie indian food around the corner
at Sakonis and then
check out a bollywood new release. a person can only stand so
many american movies, and it's always nice to mix things up
a little.
